Enabling and Disabling 2FA on UnitedPips

To activate 2FA on your account:

  1. Log in to your Client Cabinet using your registered email and password. (Keep your password secure and never share it.)
  2. Navigate to the Account tab.
  3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  1. Scroll down to Google Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
  3. Click on Enable Google 2FA.

  1. You’ll see Backup Codes, a QR Code, and a Secret Key.

Backup Codes

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app, tap +, then Scan QR Code.
  2. Enter the code generated by the app into the Generated Code field and click Check Code.
  3. When the pop-up appears, click OK, got it! You’ll be logged out for security.

 

To log in with 2FA enabled:

  1. In the login page, enter your email and password, then click Sign in.
  2. In the next window, enter the code from the Google Authenticator app and click Validate.

Once confirmed, click OK, got it! to complete the login process.

 

To disable 2FA on your account:

  1. Log in to your Client Cabinet using your registered email, password, and 2FA code.
  2. Navigate to the Account tab.
  3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  2. Click on Disable Google 2FA.

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app and enter the code into the Generated Code field, then click Check Code.

  1. When the pop-up appears, click OK, got it! to confirm the change.
